Senior Coach / Massage Therapist
Kelly is the Senior Coach / Massage Therapist at Unity1 Human Performance. She has over 14 years experience within the Australian Army and over 10 years experience in physical training.
Robbie is a dedicated & professional personal trainer. We worked closely together in building his brand and business.
He has always gone the extra mile to get things done, shown a true passion for fitness & health and continues to educate himself to ensure his clients receive excellent guidance in their quest for fitness and good health.
I first met Rob in 2012 at Rawai Muay Thai (RMT) Phuket, Thailand where he was training for a 4 week stint. He is a fitness fanatic who is serious about his strength and conditioning as well as in continuing his professional development to learn the art of Muay Thai. Since then we have been training partners at both RMT and Dee Muay Thai in Bali where his passion.
Robbie’s full time work and passion is fitness and improving human performance therefore he is the best at what he does.
I’m not one for cardio and this was definitely a weakness of mine; however, with Robbies coaching and innovative ways of training this area has definitely strengthened increasing my overall performance.
Robbie and I had the privilege of representing Australia as members of the Australian Defence Force as peacekeepers with the Multinational Force and Observers (MFO) in the Sinai, Egypt supervising the Treaty of Peace between Egypt and Israel in 2009-10.
Robbie’s role was as a manager of the base gym, sports co-ordinator and fitness consultant and program supervisor.
Robbie worked for me as an Army Physical Training Instructor (PTI) at the School of Armour when I was the Commanding Officer. After 25 years in the Army, and having been associated with various civilian sporting, fitness and recreational pursuits, I have come to regard Army’s PTIs as the most professional and capable physical training coaches, mentors and instructors.
Having served in Defence for over 20 years, Robbie is bar far one of the best Physical Training Instructors I have worked with. He has a well-adapted style that encourages initiative, personal desire and motivation for all of his exercise participants. Robbie has works in Multi National environments, and has a communication style that all can relate and respond to.
Robbie and I were deployed to the same theatre in 2009. I found Robbie to be professional, straight up, and a task master who could, and importantly, would, do more than he asked others to do. In other words he exemplified the leadership by example mantra. Robbie was a well respected member of his contingent who did more than his share without complaint.
In 2009 Robbie was the Fitness Instructor for the School Of Armour, and during this time I was the Troop Sergeant for the Initial Employment Troopers. These Troopers started their training with a poor to moderate level of fitness. This level of fitness under Robbie’s; expert advice, coaching, mentoring, and gruelling training session, were able to smash the physical.
I worked at School of Armour whilst Robbie was a PT Instructor posted there. Robbie delivered physical training to the whole School, which was part of a well developed strategy to ensure that he got the best out of a diverse workforce of mixed gender and ages.
He also ensured that personnel who were injured through work had personal physio and rehab programs tailored.
Robbie was a Combat Engineer and Unit Combat Fitness Leader under my command during 2004/2005. Robbie is an extremely mature individual with significant experience and a strong, developed character. He maintained an exceptionally high level of fitness within the sub-unit. Robbie’s preparation and execution of fitness lessons for the sub-unit were always completed.
